The following Terms and Conditions govern the access to, and use of, the Jane and Jones Flower Co (hereafter referred to as ‘Jane and Jones’) service, website and online store. 

 

Jane and Jones asks that all customers read the following carefully before engaging our floristry services or making a purchase from our online store. Once you have engaged with our service, we will assume that you have read our Terms and you will therefore be bound by them, at all times, without exception. 

 

Any reference to ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘we’ refers, at all times, to Jane and Jones. Any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to our customers and website visitors. 

 

OUR SERVICE

Jane and Jones specialises in bespoke flowers and floral designs for all occasions including, weddings, parties and corporate events. Flowers are our passion- and we work with special care, and thoughtful consideration for the environment, to create flowers that will brighten up your very special event.

 

Collaboration is an essential part of our service and we love working with our customers to bring their vision to life and make a special event complete. 

 

We reserve the right to make amendments to any part of our service at any time, without notice or consequence. This may include changes to the way we quote, design, accept payments, rules regarding deposits or other payments, availability or our online store products or procedures. 

 

Furthermore, we reserve the right, at all times, to refuse service to anyone, for any reason we deem appropriate. 

 

EVENT QUOTES & ORDERS

Below is some information, in general, on the quoting and payment process. There are more details further below on specific event types and processes. 

 

If you wish to make an enquiry about flowers for your event, please e-mail us at: hello@janeandjones.com.au with details of your event, including date, location and some specifics about what you would like to include. We will then be in touch to discuss the creation of your vision in finer detail.

 

Once we have a good understanding of what it is you want, we will provide you with a quote. All quotes are non-negotiable. If alterations are made after your initial quote, we will provide you with a new quote to reflect the amendments made. 

 

Upon agreement to your quote, we will issue an invoice for your deposit. All deposits are non-refundable and strictly non-transferable. Deposit amounts vary depending on your event. Please see below for further details. Availability for your event is not confirmed until your deposit is paid and has been received by us.

 

Once you have paid your deposit you are bound to pay the remaining balance of your quote, unless changes are made throughout the process. Changes will be permitted at Jane and Jones discretion. 

 

FLOWER AVAILABILITY

We reserve the right to make changes to orders, when required, to suit local and seasonal availability of flowers. If a certain flower you have chosen becomes unavailable for any reason, we will replace it with the closest equivalent available at the time. 

 

Please be assured that at Jane and Jones we know our flowers! If a product has become unavailable we will make sure that your replacement is just as beautiful as the previously chosen flower and will fit perfectly into your vision.

 

FLOWER CARE

We always prefer to deliver and/or install event flowers as close as possible to the commencement time of your event. If you have chosen to have your flowers delivered ahead of time, you are responsible for any upkeep or care necessary to ensure that your arrangements or installation remain in good condition. We will gladly provide care instructions based on environment and weather. We will not provide refunds, replacements or extra labour for arrangements or installations that have been damaged, through no fault of Jane and Jones. 

 

Once flowers have been delivered and properly installed, Jane and Jones will assume no liability for any damage to flowers, arrangements or installations. 

 

 

WEDDINGS

Jane and Jones is always thrilled to work with happy couples to bring their special day to life! 

 

Jane and Jones specialises in all things wedding, including bridal bouquets, buttonholes and corsages, ceremony flowers and reception venue arrangements and installations. We include delivery, set up and pack down as part of our service and this will be quoted based on the location of your event and the labour time required.

 

There is currently no minimum spend applicable to wedding orders. Orders will be quoted as per our quote process outlined above. Quotes will remain valid for 1 month from their date of issue. 

 

Once you have approved your quote, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the entire quote (inclusive of all delivery and set up fees) will be payable. This deposit will secure your date and booking details. Upon payment you are acknowledging that you have read and understood all of our Jane and Jones Terms and Conditions, particularly those relating to weddings in this section and our quote and availability sections. 

 

The remaining balance of your quote will fall due 1 month prior to your wedding date. We will not order any of your flowers until this payment has been made. Delayed payment may compromise availability of your desired flowers. IF this is the case, Jane and Jones will always seek to find the closest possible substitute. For practical and availability reasons, we are unable to make amendments to your order within 2 weeks of your wedding. We do not provide any refunds on individual items within your order, within 1 month of your wedding date. If you make changes to a certain arrangement in your order, which would result in a reduction in the price, these funds will be used to upgrade another arrangement. 

 

Invoices will be issued for payments and we accept payment via bank transfer only. 

 

In the event of cancellation on a wedding booking, we will only provide refunds on monies paid if you provide us with more than 30 days notice of cancellation. There will be strictly no refunds within 30 days. Funds from individual items cancelled within 30 days will be utilised to upgrade other items within the order. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Any items, such as vases or jars provided on a hire basis must be returned to us within 5 days of your event unless pick up has been specifically arranged and paid for. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all items are returned to us within this timeframe, in the same condition as they were delivered.  

 

Customers must provide credit card details prior to hire. Additional fees will only be charged in the event that the items, or some of the items are not returned to us or are returned damaged. Items should be returned washed or appropriately cleaned. Failure to return items in clean condition will incur a cleaning fee of $30 per hour. Additional fees will also apply if hire items have been left at the venue, and Jane and Jones must collect them. You will be notified if any such charges have taken place. 

 

If you have arranged for pickup of stock or hire items, a surcharge may apply if your chosen venue’s event policy states that items must be collected directly upon completion of the wedding or outside of usual business hours. 

 

Preparation, delivery and collection will attract a surcharge on public holidays. 

 

WEDDING BUMP IN AND BUMP OUT

Jane and Jones will not be responsible for timing delays during event bump in if we are held up by other vendors, or if we are unable to gain access to the venue. Please liaise with your other vendors and your venue to ensure that there will be no delays.

 

It is also our customer’s responsibility to ensure that any floristry design, particularly installations of a hanging nature, are cleared with the venue prior to the event. We will not be liable if work cannot be completed due to lack of permission or safety issues at the venue. No refunds will be given in this case. 

 

FORCE MAJEURE

Jane and Jones reserves the right to be freed from all liability and consequence if we are unable to service your event due to some emergency situation, including but not limited to: natural disaster, serious accident or medical emergency. 

 

FLOWER PARTIES

Jane and Jones loves being a part of your special occasions, and is thrilled to offer custom workshops to small groups for happy occasions such as hen’s days and birthdays. We will travel to you, and run events for 8 people or more at a charge of $60 per head (8-14 people), $50 per head (15-24 people), $45 per head (25+ people).

 

To secure your booking, we require a deposit of $150 to be paid at the time of confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you have paid the deposit, we will assume that you have read our full Terms and Conditions and will therefore remain bound by the Terms of our flower parties. 

 

The balance of payment will fall due 2 weeks prior to your party and participant numbers must be finalised at this time. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. All payments will be invoiced and we only accept payment for events via bank transfer. 

 

Bookings will be for 2 hours, which will include 15 minutes of prep time, 1 hour and 30 minutes of teaching and demonstrating time and 15 minutes of clean up. 

 

If you need to cancel your event, please do so with 7 days notice. Any cancellations made within 7 days of your event will result in no refund of monies paid.

 

If, for some reason, Jane and Jones must cancel a flower party, we will provide you with a full refund of the deposit and all additional monies paid. 

 

CHILDREN'S FLOWER PARTIES

We are always so excited to make your child’s event a fun and special day! Children’s flower parties can be booked at a minimum spend of $320 for 8 children, with additional children being charged at $40 per child.  No price reductions will be permitted for fewer than 8 children. 

 

To secure your booking, we require a deposit of $150 to be paid at the time of confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you have paid the deposit, we will assume that you have read our full Terms and Conditions and will therefore remain bound by the Terms of our children’s flower parties. 

 

The balance owed will fall due 2 weeks prior to your party, at which time final numbers must be finalised. All payments will be invoiced and we only accept payment for events via bank transfer. 

 

The total booking time for a children’s party is 1.5 hours. Time will commence 15 minutes before the arrival of guests- where we will begin setting up. The remaining 1 hour and 15 minutes will be spent with the attendees, demonstrating, teaching, assisting and tidying up. 

 

If you need to cancel your event, please do so with 7 days notice. Any cancellations made within 7 days of your event will result in no refund of monies paid. 

 

If, for some reason, Jane and Jones must cancel a children’s flower party, we will provide you with a full refund of the deposit and all additional monies paid. 

 

ADULT SUPERVISION AT CHILDREN'S EVENTS

We are accredited with current and valid working with children checks and have backgrounds in education, however we still have minimum requirements when it comes to adult supervision at our children’s events. 

 

We require at least one (preferably more) adults or guardians to be present and responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the attendees. By having other adults present to assist with other requirements of the children, makes it easier for us to focus on teaching and helping the kids have fun! 

 

Jane and Jones strictly accepts no liability or responsibility for the children present or any injuries or other damage that may arise throughout the course of the party. 

 

PROMOTIONS

Jane and Jones may occasionally run promotional offers through our online store. These may be advertised through our social media, our website or e-mail promotions. Such special offers may include special prices, deals or discounts on floral arrangements for order. Any promotion will only run for a limited time and may have conditions or guidelines, which must be fully complied with, without exception, in order to validly redeem the promotion.

 

Some promotions may require you to share personal information with Jane and Jones Any information shared in this capacity will be dealt with, at all times, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to this policy for more information. 

 

Special or sale prices may only be applicable for certain periods of time.

 

Discount codes must be entered at checkout, before proceeding to the payment page. No discounts will be applied retroactively. 

 

Prizes won in promotional giveaways are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

 

Jane and Jones reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel any promotion at any time, without consequence. 

 

There will be no rain checks permitted on any kind of promotion.

 

PRIVACY

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our website, and all information contained within it, is the property of Jane and Jones and is protected from unauthorised publication and dissemination by the laws of intellectual property. 

 

Any and all original Jane and Jones related designs, products, images, photographs, illustrations, logos, text, HTML code or any other intellectual property content made available on our website or throughout our wider brand, is the property of Jane and Jones and remains our copyright material at all times.

In order to fulfill our service to you, Jane and Jones will require several pieces of information from you during the quoting, design and booking process. This will include your personal details and details specific to your event. 

 

If you wish to make a purchase through our online store, you will also be asked to share certain pieces of personal information with us. This will include your full name, postal address, contact details (email/phone number) and payment information. All payment information is encrypted and is never transmitted to us in an identifiable format.

USE AND STORAGE OF INFORMATION

We will only use your information to fulfill our service to you and ensure it is performed to our high standards!

To secure your booking, we require a deposit of $150 to be paid at the time of confirmation. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you have paid the deposit, we will assume that you have read our full Terms and Conditions and will therefore remain bound by the Terms of our children’s flower parties. 

 

The balance owed will fall due 2 weeks prior to your party, at which time final numbers must be finalised. All payments will be invoiced and we only accept payment for events via bank transfer. 

 

The total booking time for a children’s party is 1.5 hours. Time will commence 15 minutes before the arrival of guests- where we will begin setting up. The remaining 1 hour and 15 minutes will be spent with the attendees, demonstrating, teaching, assisting and tidying up. 

 

 If you need to cancel your event, please do so with 7 days notice. Any cancellations made within 7 days of your event will result in no refund of monies paid. 

 

If, for some reason, Jane and Jones must cancel a children’s flower party, we will provide you with a full refund of the deposit and all additional monies paid. 

 

 ADULT SUPERVISION AT CHILDREN'S EVENTS

We are accredited with current and valid working with children checks and have backgrounds in education, however we still have minimum requirements when it comes to adult supervision at our children’s events. 

 

We require at least one (preferably more) adults or guardians to be present and responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the attendees. By having other adults present to assist with other requirements of the children, makes it easier for us to focus on teaching and helping the kids have fun! 

 

Jane and Jones strictly accepts no liability or responsibility for the children present or any injuries or other damage that may arise throughout the course of the party. 

 

PROMOTIONS

Jane and Jones may occasionally run promotional offers through our online store. These may be advertised through our social media, our website or e-mail promotions. Such special offers may include special prices, deals or discounts on floral arrangements for order. Any promotion will only run for a limited time and may have conditions or guidelines, which must be fully complied with, without exception, in order to validly redeem the promotion.

 

Some promotions may require you to share personal information with Jane and Jones Any information shared in this capacity will be dealt with, at all times, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please refer to this policy for more information. 

 

Special or sale prices may only be applicable for certain periods of time.

 

Discount codes must be entered at checkout, before proceeding to the payment page. No discounts will be applied retroactively. 

 

Prizes won in promotional giveaways are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

 

Jane and Jones reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel any promotion at any time, without consequence. 

 

There will be no rain checks permitted on any kind of promotion.

All payment information is encrypted and is never transmitted to us in an identifiable format.
